June 30, 2013 – My First Published Short Story Appears in Alphie Dog Ficton – “The Confession”
Today marks my first day as a Published Author. Wow, the excitement and feeling of accomplishment is overwhelming.
Lots of work going into this site…but I feel good about how it’s starting to look. Let’s hope it helps me and my readers!
I am so thrilled to be accepted as a contributor to this online magazine. Publication will be in a week or so and it’s great to have another publisher to add to my list!
The editors like this piece so much they tweeted the President of the U.S. with a copy. Crazy ladies! Love them!
Yup, they rejected my story “The Plagiarist” but I sat right down and found some other publishers who might consider publishing it.
Can’t believe it! So thrilled I feel like I could burst! I’ll be published in PRINT for the first time!
I had almost given up on this story…it had been rejected by four publishers, but the wait was worth it! Long Story Short is an E-zine that I love and respect for it’s support of new and emerging writers and poets…so I’m jazzed to be included in their publication!
I was absolutely flabbergasted. What an honor, one I will treasure forever. Again, I sent this story to various publishers and received rejections from all until Long Story Short sent me an acceptance e-mail. Message to all…never give up!
Wow..finally! A little cha ching for the work I’ve done on a story. The thrill is intense, the payment small, but the satisfaction is priceless. What a way to start off 2014!
